Preparing for postpartum is just as important as preparing for delivery yet let focus is given to this time in a mother’s journey that is why we have created this workshop to give you support, resource, and knowledge to thrive in your first 6 weeks postpartum.

Birth Trauma Support Group
This is a 6 session support group that meets every other week starting January 9th. The group focuses on giving you exposure to different tools to work through your birth trauma while giving you a community of other mothers that have experienced similar things. Some moms birth stories are not what they desired and that is ok. In this world it is hard to find a place when you are struggling and we want to provide that for you. Mom & Baby Self Care Workshop
Are you and your baby thriving after delivery? This workshop is to help you regain some confidence in your body while also learning ways to help your baby with feeding and reaching developmental milestones.
TWO Occupational Therapists are teaming up to provide you with ways to optimize your daily life in the first 3 months postpartum.

Below the Belt Special Screening and Panel Discussion
At The Perinatal Pelvis, we are thrilled to host a screening of the groundbreaking PBS documentary Below the Belt. Through the personal & inspiring stories of four patients urgently searching for answers to mysterious symptoms, the film exposes widespread problems in our healthcare systems.
From societal taboos and gender bias to misinformed doctors and profit-driven healthcare, the film reveals how millions are effectively silenced and how, by fighting back, they can improve healthcare for all people.
In addition to screening the film, we will have an opening reception with artists, vendors, and open concessions, as well as a panel featuring experts and special guests who will discuss the urgent issues presented by the film.
The event will be a wonderful community filled evening and will open the door to understanding an extremely common disease that has been essentially pushed under the rug.
